HND/BSC DICHOTOMY: NAPS LEADERSHIP HAILS NIGERIA PARAMILITARY BOARD

HARMONIZATION OF RANKS AND SALARIES IN CIVIL DEFENCE, CORRECTIONAL, FIRE & IMMIGRATION SERVICES, NAPS LEADERSHIP HAILS NIGERIA PARAMILITARY BOARD.

The leadership of NAPS under the stewardship of Activist Sunday A. Asuku the National President, hails the Nigerian paramilitary board for taking the lead in the fight against Dichotomy between HND and Bsc certificates according to the memo signed by the Secretary to the board Mal. Al-Hassan S. Yakmut dated 16th October 2020.

It is on record that the leadership of NAPS in collaboration with Coalition of HND Stakeholders have been in serious battle against the age-long discrepancy between HND and Bsc holders in Civil service for decades, the dichotomy which is certainly a deliberate act by some set of people in the office of Head of Civil Service to forcefully subject HND holders under their University counterparts in places of work for no single reason, the FG white paper have over time directed that the undue discrimination and ceiling against Polytechnic graduates be removed but it's worrisome to know that few Nigerians could consider themselves more powerful than the FG policy, we consider these as the height of administrative rascality.

Thanks to the Paramilitary who have decided to give credence to hard work, diligence and result by giving a level playing ground for all and sundry while the best takes the lead.

The leadership of NAPS by this wishes to call on the attention of the Head of Civil Service to consider the full implementation of the FG white paper and stop inciting Students /graduates of the Polytechnic against the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari as we shall not hesitate to picket on the office of Head of Service by extending the #END SARS protest in solidarity with all Polytechnic Students and graduates Nation-wide.

Combatant greetings to all the Foot Soldiers who have contributed to the success stories so far, we are getting there!

No Retreat, No Surrender!

Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta.

Signed,

Activist Sunday A. Asuku GCNPS

National President (NAPS)
