  NANC Kwara Concludes Educational Outreach Across Three Senatorial Districts The National Association of Nigeria Comrades (NANC), Kwara State Axis, through the Office of the Vice Chairman (Academic), has successfully completed a state-wide educational support programme aimed at promoting learning and supporting students in public secondary schools across the state. The initiative, spearheaded by Comrade Ahmed Ridwan Ayinde, covered schools across Kwara South, Kwara North, and Kwara Central Senatorial Districts, culminating in a grand finale at Sheikh Abdulsalam Secondary School, Ilorin.   JAMB Terminates Admission Into Affiliated Degree Programmes in Colleges of Education The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the discontinuation of admissions into university-affiliated degree programmes run by Colleges of Education nationwide, beginning with the 2026/2027 academic session. Under the new directive, candidates who previously applied for affiliated degree programmes will be reassigned to their selected Colleges of Education or relevant Agric-related Non-Technology National Diploma (ND) programmes. As part of the updated admission process, JAMB has also introduced compulsory O'Level result verification for all prospective NCE candidates. The verification fee has been fixed at ₦1,500 for candidates with one sitting and ₦2,000 for those presenting results from two sittings.
