NAPS APPEAL FOR CALMNESS, HAILS GOV. IFEANYI UGWUANYI FOR RAPID RESPONSE AND ASSURES IMT STUDENTS HER SUPPORT IN THIS TRYING MOMENT. 


The leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) wishes to appreciate the rapid response of the Governor with respect to the gruesome murder of our student. 


Information reaching the National Secretariat now that his excellency the executive Governor of Enugu State have sent a delegation from Government house to extend his his deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of the deceased. 

His excellency promised to do everything human possible in order to share in their pain, he is also in contact with the students leaders both from IMT Enugu, NANS JCC, ZONE B and NANS/NAPS National. 


However, we urge his excellency to consider swiftly the demands of NAPS being the immediate constituency of the deceased .


1) That the Goverment should adequately compensate the family of the decesed. 


2) That a befitting burial be arranged for the deceased. 


3) That the blood sucking personnel be identified and prosecuted accordingly for gross misconduct, unprofessionalism and attempt to throw Enugu state into Chaos. 


We urge the aggrieved Nigeria Students to remain calm and resolute as the Governor has shown his fatherly concern. 

However, we still demand that the Commissioner of Police Enugu State Command (CP Ahmad Abdul-Raman) fish out the blood thirsty personnel for Justice or we shall consider him an accomplice of the dastardly act, hence label him an enemy of Nigeria students and demand for his resignation. 


We want to re-assure our students that we are on top of the matter and their interests shall be fully defended and represented.
