Saving Dreams Foundation unveil SLTC in Nigeria

*Saving Leaders of Tomorrow Club inducted selected schools into her club*



All glory and adoration belongs to none but the Almighty, for making the grand unveiling of 'Saving Leaders of Tomorrow Club' to selected secondary schools across the state a success.

Saving Leaders of Tomorrow Club (SLTC) is a club geared towards promoting quality education through proficient reading, writing, and speaking, as well as the educational performances of secondary school students, through various activities capable of improving their intellectual capacity and capabilities.

The foundation expresses her unreserved gratitude to various guest who despite their cumbersome schedule found time to grace the occasion with their presence.

The Chief Host, Chairman Awliya Foundation and the Grand Patron of The Club, Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal was ably represented by Mr. Abdulmutolib Ayobami (Megabytes) who is also Kwara State Chairman of Nigerian Youth Congress. Mr. Issa Mutolib Ayobami, in his speech, said that one of the most exciting elements of the initiative brought on board by Saving Leaders Of Tommorow Club was the integration of coding as the world is becoming greatly digitalized daily and he adviced the students to appreciate the programme as it is an exciting one and also falls in line with what the legacy intends by it. Promises to continue to support the Club through Awliya Foundation (In Memory of Mohammed Alabi Lawal) as education and mentoring are part of the cherished values of the foundation.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, Mall. Abdulrafiu Ajakaye, inducted the various schools to the club, and also took time to enlighten them that writing is just as important as reading, and they should bear in mind that the audience are also human; who are not to be feared but, respected. He also advice the students to learn proper punctuation, grammar, and every other essential basics of verbal and nonverbal communication.
Conclusively, he asked them to be selective of the company they keep, and belong to a group which helps facilitate growth and multidimensional improvements.


Also in attendance was Hon. Abdullahi Olaitan Ayuba who was represented by Alhaji Ishola Badmus; who charged the students on developing a reading habit. He said students should develop the habit of skimming and scanning as this is a way to improve normal reading speed and also improve on keeping journals; this also helps to improve both reading and writing skills respectively.

Other various Intellectuals coaches like Miss Halimah Usman Ojone, Mr Mustafa Enesi, Mr Emmanuel Oluwaseun, Miss Jessica Awurum and Mr Alabidun Abdulbaki all spoke extensively on how the students can build themselves up reading lots of journals and being technologically savvy.

We will like to congratulate the selected schools who are the first inductee into Saving Leaders Of Tommorow Club and urge them to be exemplary ambassadors of the club going forward.
