 *NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS) JCC KWARA STATE AXIS.*

Official Press Release;

20-10-2023

*IT’S A TIMELY APPOINTMENT AND THE WEATHER WILL BE CLEMENT FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS THAN EVER.*

- NANS JCC Kwara State Axis congratulates Comrade Salami Wasiu Onidugbe Wizkiu on his appointment as the SA Students to Kwara State Governor, appreciates Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State/Chairman, NGF over the apt appointment.

On behalf of all Nigerian students in Kwara, we heartily congratulate Comrade Salami Wasiu Onidugbe, a one-time Nans Kwara chairman on his well deserved and laudable appointment as the SA Students to His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrasaq Abdulrahman, the Executive Governor of Kwara State.

The appointment of Comrade Wizkiu, to us, can be easily described as ‘a round peg in a round hole’. We are honestly thrilled that His Excellency could with excellence appoint a great technocrat who deeply understands the nooks and crannies of the students unionism of the state and even beyond.

Onidugbe is also a man whose love in the heart of Nigerian students remains highly sturdy, for he’s a charismatic students leader who discernibly understands the language(s) of his people (students).

Going for a proven track record, one will unarguably subscribe to the fact that the young man who has served in numerous leadership positions like; Convener Of Union of Class Governors, Departmental (English) PRO, Reformation Movement Vice Chairman, SUG President College of education Oro, Nans Kwara Chairman, among others deserve this reputable appointment in all fairness. Definitely, the Governor has done pretty well in appointing a key experienced students leader who has the potentials to sail the students through.

Sir, as we congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment, we equally pray that God grants you the foresight, wisdom, energy and knowledge to duly deliver your duties.

Signed:

*Comrade Yusuf Abdulgafar*
