As Adewole Ward (Youths) Celebrates: Our perspectives; is it really Comr. Oba O.A.

Little did I know about Comrade Oba (UsefulYouth) as one of the backbones of our society, and also his positive development which is crucial for a brighter future. He’s characterized by compassion, empathy, and kindness towards the people without discrimination. He has facilitated lots of opportunities to community, society and individuals who are opportunistic knowing him. I am well aware of lots of people who got jobs through him, empowerments’ facilitation, governmental opportunities without holding any political position and he has never held one despite struggles in Kwara development especially before, during and after Otoge till now.  If he has more opportunity, I am sure he will do more. Adewole community knows his value because we always see him dedicating his time for community development services in (education, sustenance of peace, job securities , facilitation of social services opportunities, among others). Oba reliefs people from his hard earned income and still facilitates more to compliment his people, he sponsor less privilege and students. 



Oba is a change-maker, innovator, and shining leader of today as we believe. How I wish he has opportunity. Apart from him being a grassrooter, he’s a certified community developer, Alumnus of KwaraPoly, Unilorin and KWASU, Bachelor of engineering, higher national diploma in mechanical , Bachelor of Science, education (B.Eng, BSc. Ed, HNDmech too) meaning , with many professional bodies (NSE, TRCN, MNATE, MNimeche, others) and conferences/seminars. 

Oba is a potential engineer who is mechanically skilled. He’s also an educator and registered teacher. He has skills in various fields. 


Oba has been honored with certificates of excellence, merit, awards of leadership by state/ Federal Government agencies officials among which are NANS, NANC, NAPS, NIPS, SUGs, NGOs, others. 

Oba also holds certificate as “scholar of mechanical engineering “ from his department when he graduated in KwaraPoly by the departmental student body while being the SUG President as well . Comrade Oba is a public speaker who was many time panelists, keynote speaker in many symposiums, engagements, and others. 


One of the surprising thing about him is generosity, humility and concern for others. Sincerely speaking without being selfish, I am an eye witness of all the above statement. If one seeks his assistance, he might not have enough, but he will try to do the little he could. He usually quote, 

*“ not because I have too much, but I know how it feels to have nothing, pls manage it”*


Oba is a good manager with a resounding human relation. He has been heads of many groups and associations. He manages forums, associations, student groups, others. And also he was one time Student Union President of the most prestigious polytechnic, first institution in Kwara State and 3rd in Nigeria, Kwara State Polytechnic. Whenever I hear students talking about his good presentations in class, it’s always charming.
