Hon. Ahmed Adamu Saba, representing Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency of Kwara State, has empowered 175 youths and women in his constituency with iPads, POS machines, and Cash Grants. This initiative aims to promote economic growth, skill development, and improved livelihoods among the beneficiaries.


As a House of Representatives member, Hon. Ahmed Saba has been actively involved in promoting the welfare of his constituents. His empowerment program aligns with his vision of "representation, legislative advancement, executive oversight, and constituency outreach".


Hon. Ahmed Saba said, the initiative was a strategic effort to drive economic empowerment, promote self-reliance, and alleviate the impact of the high cost of living in Nigeria.


Hon. Saba also noted that the initiative targeted youths and women across the three local government areas of the federal constituency, adding that it was part of his ongoing commitment to enhancing human capital development and fostering sustainable livelihoods within the constituency.


The program focused on entrepreneurship training and was anchored by the National Productivity Centre (NPC) in conjunction with BNP Resources Limited. It engaged 175 participants in activities aimed at cultivating a strong entrepreneurial mindset, offering practical skills on Digital Transformation, and fostering long-term economic independence.


The training was successfully concluded, with participants gaining hands-on experience and practical knowledge. Upon completion, each participant received a certificate, iPad, POS machine and a ₦50,000 startup grant to launch their businesses, ensuring they had the financial backing needed for success.


Hon. Saba's efforts demonstrate his commitment to the development of his constituency and the well-being of its people. This investment in the youth and women of the constituency reflects his unwavering commitment to sustainable development, growth, and prosperity for all.


The dignitaries who attended the event included Dr. Kolo Baba Jiya (Haske Patigi), Kwara State House Of Assembly Member representing Edu constituency, Hon. Saba Yisa Gideon and many of the well-wishers.
