Sustaining AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's Legacy of Peace and Youth Empowerment

Sustaining AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's Legacy of Peace and Youth Empowerment

There have been different eras in Kwara's political history, particularly in Ilorin, each marked by varying styles of leadership.

From the days of political clashes between Adamu Atta and Baba Saraki to the 2015 battle between the PDP and APC, youths were often exploited as political thugs, with hooligans being glamorized as "good boys."

However, the leadership of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in Kwara State, especially in Ilorin, signifies a profound transformation. His administration has prioritized youth empowerment, eradicated political thuggery, and fostered peace and development. By instilling purpose and responsibility in young people, he has replaced violence and hooliganism with meaningful engagement in craftsmanship and productive endeavors.

The era of political thuggery dictating elections and governance is now a thing of the past. Today, government activities continue seamlessly, even at night, in a secure and peaceful environment. This remarkable shift reflects his commitment to building a harmonious and progressive society, in line with Kwara's identity as the "State of Harmony."

Furthermore, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration has exemplified integrity and accountability. By prioritizing effective resource management over personal enrichment, he has set a standard of leadership that commands respect. His focus on the welfare of the state ensures that both human and natural resources are utilized effectively for the collective good.

The legacy of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq stands as a testament to his dedication to peace, development, and good governance. His contributions will leave an enduring mark on Kwara, serving as an inspiration for future leaders to emulate.

Although AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is not contesting for governor again, he deserves our encouragement to continue representing us. His leadership has earned him the credibility to guide the selection of leaders beyond 2027. There is no need to fear that AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will become an impostor like others before him. Instead, we must support him as he collaborates with key stakeholders to uphold the will of the people.

Supporting AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is not merely a choice but a duty for every reasonable and progressive-minded individual who desires a brighter future for Kwara State.
