In a landmark event, the convener of the Kwara South Progressive Youth Forum (KSPYF) presided over the inaugural meeting held in Offa, marking a seminal moment in the state’s pursuit of dynamic youth mobilization. The gathering served as both a platform for innovative dialogue and a clarion call to invigorate the socio-political landscape with fresh perspectives and vibrant energy.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has steadfastly championed youth empowerment, recognizing that the innovative potential and resilience of young people are pivotal catalysts for transformative change. Through erudite discussions and strategic engagements, the party underscored its commitment to cultivating an environment where emerging leaders can flourish and drive progressive reform.

The keynote Speaker and Guest Speaker Alhaji Babatunde Abdulwaheed Olawale, the APC State Publicity Secretary, and RT Hon Sharafadeen Mustapha Sharon the Offa council

Speaker, delivered a rousing address that resonated deeply with the audience. Their eloquent discourse, imbued with sagacity and fervor, highlighted the party’s unwavering dedication to crafting opportunities that empower the youth to thrive, innovate, and assume leadership roles. Their message was a vivid testament to the belief that the future of governance is intricately linked to the vigor and vision of the younger generation.

The forum's deliberations dovetailed seamlessly with the broader narrative of the Renewed Hope Agenda, a visionary framework championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This agenda places youth empowerment at its core, urging young citizens to harness their dynamism and become instrumental in spearheading national transformation. In parallel, the Kwara State government, under Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, has rolled out a suite of incisive policies specifically tailored to meet the developmental aspirations of its youth.

The APC emphatically called on the youth to assume ownership of the Renewed Hope Agenda and collaborate synergistically to effectuate tangible change. Embracing principles of transparency, accountability, and participatory governance, the party exhorted young leaders to emerge as staunch advocates of good governance. This resonant call to action not only galvanized the audience but also underscored a collective resolve to reimagine the region's socio-political fabric.

In a testament to strategic foresight, the Kwara South Progressive Youth Forum was founded by the visionary trio—Hon. Oyewale Adeyemi (Aluta), Hon. Queen-Latifah Olanrewaju (Arẹwa), and Hon. Ibrahim Adio—whose leadership laid the groundwork for a robust youth network. The inauguration of seven local government coordinators further solidified this nascent structure, setting the stage for enhanced grassroots engagement and sustained youth participation. This seminal event heralds a transformative era in youth-led governance and inclusive development across the state.
