The solidarity rally held on Tuesday, 14th April 2026 at the capital city of our dear state of harmony, under the resounding theme “Kwara North Lokan” has emerged as a powerful movement advocating for fairness, unity and the equitable distribution of political power and by extension, dividends of democracy. The gathering was beyond mere exhibition of political aspirations, but a demonstration of unity of purpose by the people of Kwara North ahead of the 2027 general election.


The rally which drew massive participation from party faithful, stakeholders, youths and community leaders served as a collective voice calling for support for the gubernatorial bid of the Kwara North Senatorial District. It was a defining moment of shared commitment aimed at fostering inclusiveness and strengthening the bond among the entire region of Kwara State in particular, and Kwara state in general. 


‘Kwara North L’okan’ symbolizes a widely growing consensus that every region deserves a fair opportunity at leadership and governance of our State. The movement highlights the importance of balance, fairness and justice in political representation, ensuring that no part of the state is marginalized or left behind, either in the balance of power or developmental efforts. 


As voices across Kwara state; North to South and Central, continues to rise in support of Kwara North, the rally stands as a beacon of hope reminding all that true democracy thrives when inclusiveness, fairness and the welfare of the people remain at its core.
