The Founder and Proponent of the SAO Group, a socio-political and humanitarian organisation, Hon. Sunday Adeleke, has described Alhaji Abass Olopoenia as an exceptional leader whose commitment to peace, unity, and grassroots development has continued to earn him admiration across Oyo State and beyond.

Adeleke made the remarks while speaking on the leadership philosophy of the respected political figure, whom he described as a father figure and a symbol of reconciliation in Nigerian politics.

According to him, Olopoenia's enduring influence stems from his consistent commitment to inclusive leadership, peaceful coexistence, and selfless service to humanity.

"Alhaji Abass Olopoenia is a blessing to Oyo State because of his immense personal contributions to the growth and development of the state and the country. Above all, his reconciliatory approach to politics deserves commendation. He has consistently championed unity, peaceful coexistence, and inclusiveness," Adeleke said.

He noted that Olopoenia's popularity and acceptance among the people reflect his strong grassroots connection and people-oriented leadership style.

The SAO founder explained that the organisation's humanitarian programmes and community development initiatives are inspired by Olopoenia's philosophy that leadership should prioritise the welfare of the people.

"Our group is committed to promoting people-centred leadership. We have continued to contribute our quota to humanity through various humanitarian interventions because we believe governance should positively impact lives," he stated.

Adeleke further maintained that the group's vision aligns with Olopoenia's long-standing commitment to selfless service, saying the organisation is proud to identify with a political philosophy built on compassion, dignity, and public service.

He also urged members of the SAO Group to remain steadfast in advancing the organisation's grassroots movement, expressing confidence that their dedication would produce meaningful results.

"I encourage all our members to remain focused and committed to the grassroots movement of SAO. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, and with perseverance, our vision for a better society will be achieved," he added.

Reaffirming the group's commitment to humanitarian service and grassroots development, Adeleke said the SAO Group would continue to champion initiatives aimed at improving the lives of ordinary people and promoting inclusive governance.
