This day is very significant in our history, It marks the day for the struggles of freedom by our our great-grandfathers became a reality. 


I wish the citizens of this great nation good health, strong spirit and confidence in a brighter future.


As a representative of young people, I urge us to be patriotic, shun corruption, build-up leadership skill and be ready take charge in every aspect of governance.

Since the return of democracy in 1999, political power in Kwara State has been unevenly distributed. Let me state this clearly, a father cannot be enslaved while the son chooses his own path. Political affiliation is a matter of individual conviction, not family bondage.
