Kwara Government Announces Minor Cabinet Reshuffle
Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle affecting political appointees across various offices in the state government.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Mashood AbdulRafiu Agboola, the reshuffle involves all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants serving in the administration.
The exercise also affects the offices of the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.
The government explained that the decision is aimed at creating opportunities for more members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to contribute to governance while bringing fresh perspectives and renewed energy into the administration.
Governor AbdulRazaq expressed appreciation to the affected appointees for their dedication, commitment, and contributions to the growth and development of Kwara State during their period of service.
The Governor wished them success in their future endeavors and commended them for their invaluable service to the state.
The statement further directed all affected appointees to hand over government properties in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in line with established procedures.
The development marks the latest administrative adjustment by the AbdulRazaq-led government as it continues efforts to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery across the state.
