Former Special Adviser on Party Affairs to the Governor of Kwara State and leading aspirant for the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat, Hon. Moshood Alaka, has reaffirmed his loyalty to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the All Progressives Congress (APC) following a courtesy visit by the party's House of Representatives candidate for the constituency, Hon. Mamman Tswako.

The visit, which formed part of ongoing consultations ahead of the forthcoming general election, also featured former aspirants from the constituency, Hon. Mohammed Baba Ibrahim and Hon. Abubakar Taoheed Bello (popularly known as Car-Wash).

The meeting provided an avenue for discussions on strengthening the APC in the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency and sustaining the party's electoral success through unity, cooperation, and grassroots mobilization.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Mamman Tswako commended Hon. Alaka for his maturity, steadfastness, and commitment to the APC throughout the primary election process. He appealed for the support of Hon. Alaka and his political structure, noting that victory in the general election would require the collective efforts of party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters across the constituency.

Responding, Hon. Alaka welcomed the APC candidate and reiterated his readiness to support all candidates duly produced by the party, emphasizing that his commitment remains rooted in the progress and unity of the APC.

According to him, loyalty to the party and respect for its decisions must take precedence over individual political ambitions.

"I have no other political party. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is my political party, and I am satisfied with any decision he makes. Once the party has taken a decision, it becomes our collective responsibility to work for its success," Alaka stated.

He stressed that political aspirations should never be placed above the collective interest of the party and the development of Kwara State, expressing confidence that the APC would secure victory through unity, discipline, and effective grassroots engagement.

Alaka further reaffirmed his support for the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, describing party cohesion and loyalty as essential ingredients for sustaining the developmental strides recorded in the state.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the leaders to strengthen the APC, foster reconciliation among party members, and work collectively toward achieving success in future elections.

The visit is seen as part of broader efforts by party stakeholders to consolidate support and maintain harmony within the APC ahead of the next electoral cycle.
