 Kwara APC Appoints Olasumbo Oyeyemi as Tinubu Torch Bearers State Co-Coordinator



The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Olasumbo Florence Oyeyemi as the State Co-Coordinator of the Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB), a strategic platform established to promote and deepen support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

The appointment, conveyed through the Office of the APC Kwara State Women Leader in a letter dated July 6, 2026, recognizes Hon. Oyeyemi's unwavering commitment, loyalty, and remarkable contributions to the growth and success of the party in Kwara State.

The Tinubu Torch Bearers serves as a nationwide mobilization and advocacy platform aimed at engaging youths, women, and other key stakeholders while promoting the policies, achievements, and vision of the Tinubu administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Oyeyemi has distinguished herself through various leadership roles within the APC, including serving as:

Spokesperson, 2023 Kwara APC Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council

Financial Secretary, APC Kwara South Senatorial District Committee

Deputy Chairman, APC State Youth Advisory Council

Chairperson, APC Oke-Ero Wards Campaign Council


Speaking on the appointment, the APC Women Leader described Hon. Oyeyemi as a dedicated and dependable party leader whose commitment to progressive ideals has earned her the confidence of the party leadership.

In her response, Hon. Oyeyemi expressed gratitude to the APC leadership for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work tirelessly with party leaders and members across the state to strengthen grassroots mobilization and advance the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
