NAPS DEMAND THE IMMEDIATE ARREST OF Dr. Oloko O. Olaitan.

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is an umbrella body for all Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Technology and other allied institutions awarding ND/HND cut across the six geopolitical zones of the federation with the membership strength of over 21.1 million armless batallion students schooling both at home and in diaspora, NAPS is the second largest students movement in Africa.

The leadership of NAPS embarked on a Fact Finding Mission to the Federal Polytechnic Ile-oluji Ondo state, NAPS team arrived the institution on Monday 31st August 2020 in a bid to get raw fact regarding the petition filed against the Rector of the institution Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, the Rector was alleged of Age falsification, mismanagement of funds and maladministration among others.

The news making round the internet which is capable of soiling the image of our dear institution hence, NAPS decided to temporarily relocate her secretariat to Ile-Oluji in a bid to salvage the name of our dear institution.

We were amazed at the visible achievements of the management just within the space of four (4) years, one would expect less based on the purported allegations making round, the newly birthed citadel of learning have recorded unprecedented success which made the school of four years rose to the thirteenth (13) position in the most recent NBTE ranking.

The leadership of NAPS took her time to visit the traditional ruler of the community and other relevant stakeholders including some students who are residents of Ile-Oluji, they all chorused the praises of the Federal Government for providing a up-to-date citadel of learning which has attracted alot of development to the community.

They all debunked the rumor of conflict / chaos / rift between the management and the community, the residents and chieftains assured us of a palatable working relationship with the institution and even confirmed the readiness of the institution to train their children on ICT, the institution is completely set to partake in the next JAMB exercise having the necessary criteria.

Haven conducted our background check, it is crystal clear that Dr. Oloko Olaitan have suddenly turned himself to an enemy of the institution simply because he was dismissed for gross misconduct and insubordination, he has since then engaged in the business of blackmailing, propaganda and inciting the public against the management as well as soiling the name of our dear institution.

We hereby advice the dismissed Dr. Oloko O. Olaitan to desist from these evil act or risk being declared wanted by the leadership of NAPS, We  appeal to the Nigeria Police Force to apprehend, interrogate and comport the dismissed Dr. Oloko Olaitan before he causes problems beyond repair.

If he has any viable case with reasonable evidences, he knows where best to approach instead of disturbing the peace of our peaceful institution.

The leadership of NAPS also charge the management of the institution led by the Rector Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin to continue with the good work and never derail from the act of justice, peace, equity as well as giving the students the best since Education remains the best legacy.

Special thanks to TETFUND for the support, it is all over the institution and visible enough for everyone to see as the take off grant was well utilised.

The leadership of NAPS also urge other heads of institutions to ensure they utilise our resources judiciously, other crawling institutions should contact Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji for mentorship ASAP.
