Eluku Inaugurates 87-Man Campaign Mobilization Committee Ahead of PDP House of Assembly Primary Election

The aspiration of Hon. Comr. Salahudeen A. Lukman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly ticket for Ojomu Balogun Constituency gathered fresh momentum as an 87-member Campaign Mobilization Committee was officially inaugurated ahead of the forthcoming PDP primary election.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the Eluku OmoAdugbo Campaign Office located in the Attan-Oba area of Offa, with party stakeholders, loyalists, and supporters in attendance.

Leading the inauguration process were the Director General and Head of the Campaign Team, Hon. Fatahi Shittu, the Deputy Director General, Hon. Muftau Adeyemoh, and the Head of Strategy and Planning Coordination, Barr. Salami.

The newly constituted structure consists of representatives drawn across the five wards of Ojomu Balogun Constituency. The committee includes a 10-member Think Tank made up of two members from each ward, a 25-member Elders Council comprising five party elders from each ward, and a 50-member Mobilization Committee with ten members selected from each ward.

The campaign structure is expected to immediately commence aggressive grassroots mobilization, consultations, and canvassing of party members across the five wards of Ojomu Balogun Constituency ahead of the PDP primary election and the 2027 general elections.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Comr. Salahudeen A. Lukman appreciated members of the team for their unwavering fatherly and motherly support since the beginning of his political aspiration in 2022.

He recalled how he was once described by critics as unpopular before emerging victorious to secure the PDP ticket for Ojomu Balogun Constituency in 2023, stressing that his rapid political growth and increasing popularity were products of the collective sacrifices and dedication of supporters and party faithful who have now been reconstituted into the campaign structure.

“I know you are wonderful people, committed and steadfast. I assure you all of my gratitude,” he stated.

He further pledged his commitment and dedication toward the collective goals of the movement and the advancement of the PDP in the constituency.

“I know you will not let me down this time. Your work started in 2022, and you almost concluded it in 2024 during the local government election before the oppressors used power against us. I urge you all to complete the job in 2027, and it starts now with aggressive mobilization of party leaders and members toward victory at the forthcoming primary election and the subsequent general election in 2027,” he concluded.
