Hon. Moshood Alaka, the leading aspirant for the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, has expressed profound appreciation to the Government, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the State Party Executives for their tireless commitment towards ensuring a transparent, free, fair, and credible primary election process.

Reacting to the postponement of the APC House of Representatives Primary Election, Hon. Alaka described the decision as part of the democratic process aimed at strengthening internal party democracy and ensuring fairness for all stakeholders involved.

According to him, the efforts and sacrifices of the party leadership in maintaining unity, peace, and credibility within the party structure are highly commendable and will never go unnoticed by members and supporters across the constituency.

Hon. Alaka therefore called on the good people of Edu, Moro, and Patigi Federal Constituency, especially his supporters and party faithful, to remain calm, peaceful, and steadfast ahead of the exercise. He urged everyone to continue conducting themselves responsibly and avoid every form of violence, provocation, or actions capable of disrupting the peace and harmony enjoyed within the constituency.

“Politics and elections should never be seen as a do-or-die affair. Elections will come and go, but our integrity, unity, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence as a people remain far more important and must be protected at all times,” he stated.

The aspirant further emphasized that democracy can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, mutual respect, tolerance, and adherence to the rule of law. He encouraged party members and supporters not to lose hope or become discouraged by the postponement, assuring them that victory remains achievable through patience, dedication, and collective commitment.

Hon. Alaka also extended heartfelt appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women groups, elders, and supporters across Edu, Moro, and Patigi Local Government Areas for their overwhelming support, prayers, encouragement, and belief in his vision for quality representation and inclusive leadership.

He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the ideals of equity, justice, fairness, and proper representation, stressing that the collective interest and development of the constituency will always remain his top priority.

“As we continue this democratic journey together, I urge everyone to remain united, focused, and hopeful. Our mission is beyond politics; it is about building a stronger, more progressive, and better represented Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency for the benefit of all,” he added.

Hon. Alaka assured constituents that every sacrifice, commitment, and support shown towards his aspiration is deeply appreciated and will never be taken for granted.
