MANAGEMENT: No fees increment, Students should not worry

 NO INCREASE IN SCHOOL FEES IN KWASU Dear All, The Management of the Kwara State University, Malete wishes to inform the general public that there is no iota of truth in the rumours making the round that the Management has increased KWASU Students' school fees. We however wish to state that there is an ongoing robust discussion between Management and the Students union leaders  on ways to improve on the financial standing of the university towards the provision of standard  teaching and learning  regime. In line with our desire to entrench a culture of participatory governance in the administration of the university, management has ensured that the conversation has been democratic, peaceful and harmonious. Kwasu: update on school fees

*REPORT OF SU MEETING WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF KWASU ON THE PROPOSED PROGRAM NEEDS ADDED FEE* 5th September, 2020 Yesterday, The Students’ Union met with the committee of Deans to discuss the proposed program needs fee. The chairman of the committee, Prof. Hamzat discussed the purpose of proposing the new fee. He explained that it will be designated towards enhancing quality learning in various departments. He continued that the fee will be charged based on the research carried out on the needs of various departments. The fee, of which the highest is N50,000 and the lowest is N25,000 varies from department to department.  After listening to the analysis of the chairman of the committee, the Students’ Union President, Com. BREAKING: NNPC raise PMS price in Nigeria

  The Petroleum Products Marketing Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, has increased the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, to N151.56 per litre from N138.62 per litre. This was disclosed in an internal memo from Ibadan depot to all stakeholders with reference number PPMC/IB/LS/020 dated September 2, 2020 and signed by D.O Abalaka. The ex-depot price is the price at which the product is sold to marketers at the depots. The memo, a copy of which was seen by our correspondent, said, “Please be informed that a new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform. ”To this end, the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) is now one hundred and fifty-one naira, fifty-six kobo (N151.56k) per litre. This is effective from September 2, 2020.”
