Hon. Moshood Alaka: Accountability Beyond Propaganda

The growing support for Hon. Moshood Alaka’s aspiration to represent the people of Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives is not built on propaganda or empty political slogans, but on his track record of accessibility, accountability, and commitment to grassroots development.

Born and raised in Adejimi village, Moro Local Government Area, Hon. Alaka remains deeply connected to the realities, struggles, and aspirations of the people. His understanding of the political and socioeconomic landscape of the constituency has continued to distinguish him as a grassroots politician whose loyalty lies with the masses.

Supporters of the aspirant maintain that leadership should be measured not by loud promises, but by integrity, service, and the ability to prioritize the welfare of the people above personal interest. According to them, while some individuals entrusted with public offices in the past allegedly turned such opportunities into avenues for personal enrichment, Hon. Alaka has consistently demonstrated a people-oriented approach in both public and private engagements.

They further argued that at a time when citizens are demanding transparency and accountable representation, the constituency deserves a representative who understands the importance of responsible leadership and prudent management of public trust.

“Hon. Moshood Alaka represents accountability beyond propaganda. He has shown capacity, humility, and commitment to the people. His politics is centered on empowerment, inclusion, and community development,” Idris Abdulwasiu.

Political observers within the constituency also noted that Alaka’s increasing acceptance across Edu, Moro, and Patigi Local Government Areas is largely driven by his longstanding relationship with the grassroots and his willingness to engage directly with the people.

As political activities continue ahead of the forthcoming elections, many residents believe that the next phase of representation for Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency should be anchored on competence, transparency, and genuine service delivery. For many of his supporters, Hon. Moshood Alaka embodies those qualities.
