Danladi Is Kwara's Unity Candidate, Moro LG Speaker Declares




The Speaker of the Moro Local Government Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Adelodun Ramat, has described the APC governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi (SYD), as the unity candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, noting that he enjoys widespread acceptance across the grassroots.

In a press statement, the Speaker praised Danladi's leadership qualities, describing him as a visionary politician with the intellectual capacity to consolidate on the achievements of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and lead Kwara State to greater heights.

According to her, Danladi possesses the experience, competence, and progressive mindset required to sustain the developmental strides recorded under the current administration and further expand opportunities for the people of the state.

"Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi is the unity ticket of APC in Kwara State. He is widely accepted at the grassroots and has demonstrated the intellectual capacity needed to move Kwara forward. With SYD, Kwara is set for greater development, and the dividends of democracy will reach every community," she stated.

The Speaker also emphasized the need for equity and inclusiveness in the state's political leadership, noting that Kwara North deserves the opportunity to produce the next governor after years of supporting the growth and stability of the state.

Speaking on concerns about marginalisation, she said the emergence of Danladi presents an opportunity for Kwara North to demonstrate its capacity to provide effective leadership and contribute meaningfully to the continued progress of the state.

"I am from Kwara North, and I believe the time has come for the zone to take the mantle of leadership and show that we can bring about greater positive changes for the benefit of all Kwarans," she added.

Rt. Hon. Adelodun Ramat called on APC members and supporters across the state to remain united and rally behind the party's candidate, stressing that unity and collective commitment would be essential to securing victory and sustaining development in Kwara State.
